Hi! My name is Adrienne Schexnayder and I am the Media Specialist at Sixth Ward Elementary! 

This is my 30th year of teaching, 10 of which have been in St. James Parish.  

I graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelor's degree in Music Education.  I went on to get my Library School Certification in 2005. I taught music and worked in the library at Ascension Catholic Primary School for 17 years.  I was the Media Specialist at Lutcher High School for 6 years. 

I am happy to be part of the Sixth Ward Elementary School family and look forward to an exciting school year!
